Missing walker Andrew Moorhouse has been found in the Highlands.
The 47-year-old Sheffield man was reported missing on Tuesday after travelling to Lochaber.
He had last been seen the previous day.
Police Scotland said: “Andrew has been traced by officers in Fort William this morning and is safe and well.”
Mr Moorhouse has a history of prompting searches after going walking. Mr Moorhouse was reported missing in Keswick, Cumbria, in September. He was reported safe and well a few days later. And in June this year an alert was issued by Police Scotland when he went missing in the Cairngorms. He was found within a couple of days.

13 October 2019It's high time that whoever keeps reporting him missing is charged with wasting police time.

14 October 2019I'm with DT above on this. If he wants to clear off and do his thing in the back country then that's good with me. That is what it's there for. No doubt he has his reasons.

14 October 2019I agree with Dave Taylor

14 October 2019the man obviously needs help, he wants to be the centre of attention, can somebody, I am assuming mountain rescue and police are pros, direct him to somebody who can help him.

15 October 2019If he has mental heath issues then he needs appropriate help and support, if he doesn't then he should be charged and banned from travelling away from home. Either way this can't be allowed to continue.

15 October 2019The police and MRT must surely know who is reporting him as missing. Why is nothing done to stop this wasting of valuable resources?

17 October 2019I agree with one of the comments on another article about this guy. He could actually be reporting himself missing when he isn't missing or lost at all.
As this is a repeat offence which is all centred around a missing person. They should fit him with some sort of GPS tag so the authorities can see where he goes.

19 October 2019I agree with all the above. Fit him with a tracker and either get him the help he obviously needs or charge him. This must be a Munchausen type condition!

19 October 2019Just google him and you'll find he has been up to these capers since at least 2004.
A ball and chain may be appropriate.

20 October 2019Sorry for my comments on 14th above. I try to stay sensible but it doesn't always work. Sounds like I'm not the first to be conned.
