Police are seeking information on a man who they believe may have gone walking in the Lake District.
Cumbria Constabulary said there are concerns for Richard Gordon-Head’s welfare.
Police said the missing 59-year-old man is strongly believed to be in Cumbria.
A spokesperson said Mr Gordon-Head is from Wiltshire. “However, he was brought up in the Egremont and St Bees area of Cumbria and is believed to have been in Penrith earlier today [Friday].
“He is also known to enjoy fellwalking, with a particular fondness for the Haweswater area.
“Officers are concerned for Mr Gordon-Head’s welfare and ask that anyone who sees him calls 999.”
Anyone with other information that might help the search for the missing man is asked to call 101.
