The Keen Liberty Ridge

Keen has expanded its boot range with a top-spec leather model made in its new European factory.

The Liberty Ridge is aimed at walkers undertaking technical ascents and longer backpacking trips on challenging terrain.

Keen said: “The Liberty Ridge is crafted from a single piece of high-quality full-grain leather and features synthetic overlays for added support and durability.

“A luxurious leather-lined shaft is equipped with a Keen.Dry waterproof and breathable membrane and features durable high grade metal eyelets. Constructed with Keen’s proprietary direct-inject PU midsole, the Liberty Ridge offers incredible durability, resisting compaction and keeping its cushioning qualities from the first step to the millionth.

“An integrated heel cushion provides additional underfoot comfort and protection, while a full-length shank adds exceptional stability underfoot, even on demanding and unpredictable terrain.”

The brand added that a rugged and aggressively lugged dual compound rubber outsole ensures enhanced traction with incredible durability whatever you should encounter underfoot.

The Liberty Ridge is available in both men’s and women’s versions and retails at £150.
