Four rescue teams and a Coastguard helicopter are continuing the search for a missing hillwalker who has not been seen since Friday.
Members of the Search and Rescue Dogs Association Scotland have also joined the hunt for Robin Garton in Glen Coe.
The 69-year-old Wiltshire man’s VW Passat estate car was found by police in the Achnambeithach car park, off the A82 near Loch Achtriochtan.
Glencoe and RAF Mountain Rescue Teams made extensive searches yesterday, along with Sarda Scotland dogs and handlers and the Inverness Coastguard helicopter. Today, they were joined by colleagues from the Lochaber and Oban MRTs.
Searches are continuing on Aonach Eagach, Bidean nam Bian, Stob Coire nam Beith and Stob Coire nan Lochan.
The Wiltshire man, described as an experienced mountaineer and hillwalker, was staying near Buachaille Etive Mòr. He left his accommodation about 8am on Friday, saying he had plans to drive north to meet friends in the Kinlochewe area on Sunday, but he never arrived.
His car was found further down Glen Coe after he was reported missing.
Police said concern is now growing for Mr Garton’s welfare and appealed for any sightings of the walker.
He is described as 6ft 2in (1.88m) in height, of slim to medium build. He has fair hair which is slightly balding and occasionally wears glasses. Police said it is not known what he was wearing.
Anyone who has seen Mr Garton or saw his vehicle is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
