PackTowl's new Luxe towel

PackTowl, the brand best known for its fast drying lightweight towels aimed at the backpacker and traveller, is putting a little luxury into its range.

Its new Luxe towel has a terry knit looped fabric that creates the sensation of a warm, plush towel while maintaining PackTowl’s the super absorbent, quick drying performance.

The Seattle-based brand said the Luxe towel absorbs five times its weight in water and provides the comfort of home wherever adventure leads.

The Luxe towel is available in four sizes: face, hand, body, and beach. Colours include deep sea, sunburst, mist, orchid, and rainforest. A storage pouch is included.

The Luxe was unveiled at the recent OutDoor trade show in Germany, along with the revamped Nano, which fits in in a bike jersey pocket or runner’s pack, can be worn as a sweatband or bandana on hikes, or can be stored in a backpack, purse or briefcase. “Anywhere you might be, the Nano absorbs twice its weight in water,” PackTowl said.

PackTowl’s new Luxe and Nano towels will go on sale in selected stores in the UK in January.
