The Elliot Brown Mountain Rescue watch
The makers of an upmarket watch aimed at outdoor enthusiasts have launched a special edition of the timepiece which will help raise funds for mountain rescuers.
The Elliot Brown Mountain Rescue watch has Mountain Rescue England & Wales’s logo engraved on its back, and the company said it will donate £36 to the organisation for every watch sold.
The limited-edition watch is based on the brand’s durable Canford collection. The wrist-watch retails at £360 but Elliot Brown is offering a discount to any mountain rescue team members who are interested in buying one.

The watch has the mountain rescue logo on its case back
The shock- and water-resistant model has an internal rotating bezel for timing duties. The company said: “The Swiss movements are encased in a floating steel housing, suspended by special shock-absorbing elastomers, to help reduce the effects of harsh vibration and knocks.
“Effective resistance to water and dust is achieved courtesy of a unique triple sealing system with every model tested in water at 200m. The case back is beautifully engraved with the mountain rescue logo and special edition wording.”
Elliot Brown said each watch will come with two straps: full-grain black oiled leather with brushed deployant clasp and black ‘military inspired’ custom webbing with brushed stainless d-loops to complement the brushed watch case. Two screwdrivers are included, enabling the wearer to change straps depending on the occasion.
