Berghaus’s new Ortler waterproof trousers offer softshell stretchiness combined with a waterproof lining.
The company said the Ortler is a hiking pant for all seasons.
The main fabric used is a durable material made of lightweight 90 per cent polyamide and 10 per cent Elastane with four-way stretch and a durable water repellent finish. “The Ortler promises great freedom of movement during long days on the hill and, thanks to a fully taped Berghaus stretch AQ lining, it is also waterproof,” Berghaus said.
The Ortler Waterproof pant retails at £100 and is available in both men’s and women’s versions.
Features include three zipped pockets – two handwarmer and one rear; a curved back comfort panel with belt loops and an elasticated drawcord at the hems. The Ortler Waterproof is available in a wide range of sizes for men and women, as well as three leg lengths in both versions.
The trousers are available from selected outdoor retailers and from Berghaus.
