Craghoppers Compresslite Jacket

A new range from outdoors brand Craghoppers is aimed at lightening your load without lightening your wallet too much.

The Pro-Lite collection offers a sub-1kg outfit for both men and women for less than £150.

For men, a Compresslite Jacket, Pro-Lite Half Zip and Kiwi Pro-Lite Trousers, at £60, £30 and £40 respectively, tip the scales collectively at 895g.

The Compresslite Jacket uses insulating ClimaPlus wadding, which is also windproof, and conveniently packs away into its own stuff sack. Available in sizes S to XXL in Alpine green, black/black pepper, imperial blue/dark navy and black, it weighs 465g.

The Pro-Lite Half Zip fleece provides an instant layer of insulation when conditions are cool. Made from super-light, yet efficient microfleece fabric, this half-zip is available in sizes S to XXL in royal navy, imperial blue, Alpine green and quarry grey with a weight of240g.

The Kiwi Pro Lite Trousers complete the outfit and have three zipped pockets, heel tape and SolarShield sun protection up to UPF 40+. They are available in dark lead and taupe colourways and sizes R30in to 42in and weigh190g.

Craghoppers Pro-Lite Half Zip

The women’s kit comes in at £135 and is cut specifically for female outdoor fans and comes in contemporary colours.

The 375g Compresslite Jacket is available in sizes 8 to 20 in black, candy red, lagoon and sea salt.

Pro-Lite Half Zip microfleece comes in lagoon, candy red, lipstick and true blue and sizes 8 to 20 with a weight of 215g.

Completing the women’s outfit are the Kiwi Pro Trousers featuring four-way stretch for unrestricted performance, SolarShield sun protection up to UPF 40+, as well as three zipped pockets and a sunglasses wipe. They are available in sizes S, R and L 8 to 20 in in twilight, graphite, mushroom, mid-khaki and black. Weight is 285g.

Prices respectively are £60, £30 and £45.
