brasher, famous for its traditional-looking brown boots, has updated its Hillwalker model.
Pitched at the lower end of its leather range, the Hillwalker II GTX comes in men’s and women’s versions and the company said it is already making big strides towards becoming a firm favourite with UK walkers.
The Sunderland-based brand said: “The brasher Hillwalker II GTX incorporates a durable 1.6 to 1.8mm oiled full-grain leather upper with a Gore-Tex lining.
“The sole unit combines brasher’s grippy rubber hiking outsole with a shock absorbing EVA midsole.
“Other features on the Hillwalker II include a locking hook system in the lacing to provide extra ankle and heel hold, and a memory foam lining in the collar for added comfort.”
The boot is designed for extended hill and valley walking on paths and trails and retails £120. Weight is 1,202g per pair for size nines, according to the company.
