Rescuers have found the body of a walker missing on a Glencoe mountain since Tuesday.
Members of the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and Search and Rescue Dogs Association members found the body of John King on Stob na Doire, an 1,011m (3,317ft) peak on the Buachaille Etive Mòr range.
The 63-year-old’s remains were found about 10.20 this morning, police said.
A Sea King search and rescue helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth also joined today’s operation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said the Bishopbriggs man’s next of kin have been informed.
Four mountain rescue teams plus search dog handlers, along with two helicopters have been involved in the search for Mr King, who failed to return home after going walking on Buachaille Etive Mòr on Tuesday.

31 August 2013Should it not be Stob na Broige?
Bob
31 August 2013Mr King's body was found on Stob na Doire, which we erroneously described as a munro, which it is not.
The two munros on Buachaille Etive Mòr are Stob Dearg and Stob na Bròige.
Our apologies for the error.

01 September 2013Did the police really say remains? and did you have to print it if they did?
The poor man was missing not long and I assume his body was intact.
The 63-year-old’s remains were found about 10.20 this morning, police said.
