The adventure pros will inspire with their talks, organisers said

A series of adventure talks hosted by an outdoor retailer will help raise cash for mountain rescue and a cancer charity.

Two of Ellis Brigham’s stores are the venues for the presentations by a leading mountaineer, climber, mountain biker, photographer and performance coach.

Proceeds from the talks, in Manchester and London, will go to Mountain Rescue England and Wales and Smile with Siddy, a children’s cancer charity.

A spokesperson for the Ellis Brigham Adventure Talks said: “They’ll give you an insight into what motivates them to strive to capture the moment, ride faster, climb higher and drive others to perform better.”

Speakers at the Castlefield store in central Manchester on 24 April are rock-climber James McHaffie, mountaineer Andy Housesman, cyclist Tracy Moseley and performance coach Bernie Shrosbree who works with Formula One driver Mark Webber.

The following day, Ellis Brigham’s Covent Garden shop will repeat the talks by Houseman and Shrosbree, with additional addresses by mountain biker Hannah Barnes and adventure photographer Dan Milner.

Tickets for each show cost £8. More information, including booking details, is on the Ellis Brigham website.
