Police are appealing for information about a hillwalker who has gone missing.
Journalist Clive Dennier failed to turn up for work at the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.
His bosses alerted police who said he may have gone walking.
The 50-year-old had spoken about going hillwalking at the weekend, but no-one has seen or heard from him since.
A Northern Constabulary spokesperson said: “There is no information about where he may have gone, although he is known to enjoy the hills in the West of the force area.
“Mr Dennier drives a silver Volkswagen Polo, registration number SX54 CXD.
“If anyone has seen this vehicle in the past few days or has any other information about Mr Dennier’s whereabouts they are asked to call police on 101.”

26 March 2013Many of us like to walk off into desolate areas as a means of relaxation and quiet contemplation.
Many of these places have hidden risks as well as the blatently obvious ones.
The easiest safeguard is to text a friend at the outset and upon your return.
None of us think we could be compromised but sadly sometimes acidents can happen.
Play safe, mobiles only have a certain range, think TEXT.
