The women's version of the Ultra FL Mountain Trekking Poles

Black Diamond’s latest innovative walking poles now come in women-specific sizes.

The Utah-based company said the Ultra Mountain FL Trekking Pole offers four-season versatility, and can be used on outings from light hikes to heavy trekking and snowshoeing, or even backcountry ski tours.

The poles feature the Black Diamond Z-Pole technology with 20cm of Flick Lock Pro adjustment.

A company spokesperson said: “Deployment takes only a few seconds, thanks to innovative speed cone technology, and when it’s time to pack them away again the Women’s Ultra Mountain FL fits easily inside even a daypack.”

The Ultra Mountain FL is a three-section Z-Pole folding design made from a durable aluminium construction complete with season-specific baskets and a lightweight Mountain Series EVA foam grip with breathable moisture wicking strap.

The poles also boast a non-slip foam mini-grip extension for secure choke ups and Flex Tech Tips.

The women’s Ultra Mountain FL Trekking Poles retail at £119 and weigh 591g for a 95 to 110cm pair.
