Outdoor enthusiasts with an eye for a literary bargain can bag a book or two in a sale by one of the country’s biggest publishers of guidebooks.
Cumbria-based Cicerone’s annual bargain book sale is now on, with knockdown prices on a range titles for walkers, trekkers, mountaineers, climbers and cyclists.
Guidebooks included are those which are out of print, previous editions, or previous print runs.
And for adventurous types there is the chance to order a mystery box, containing five books for a tenner.
Cicerone said anyone ordering the mystery collections can choose from categories, ‘but the exact titles will be a complete surprise’.
The company is also offering free postage to UK addresses.
More details of the annual sale are on the Cicerone website.
