Spanish brand Trangoworld has unveiled a range of high-end trousers aimed at those facing extreme conditions.
The TRX range includes men- and women-specific designs for outdoor athletes such as mountaineers, alpinists, skiers, climbers and expedition participants.
The company said: “The Trangoworld TRX range is manufactured and designed with the latest technologies in materials and performance characteristics.”
It said these include construction and specific design shape, with seams in non-critical places where the wear and tear is lower; optimal fabric combination in different areas of the garment; an avalanche detection system; and pockets placed strategically for when users are wearing a climbing harness or backpack and reinforcements in areas of higher tear.

The women’s version, the Lac UU, costs £164.99 and tips the scales at 640g for a size M.
