Mountain rescuers were called out to find lost walkers and mountain bikers in the Lake District.
Coniston Mountain Rescue Team was alerted at 3.30pm on Monday after three women became disoriented while walking in bad weather on the Coniston Fells.
Twelve team members made their way on to the hills above Coniston Coppermines Valley and found the trio.
A spokesperson said: “The group was located uninjured by team members in potentially difficult ground near the summit of Great How Crags, from where they were walked down to Coniston MRT vehicles at Levers Water.”
And yesterday, 13 team members turned out to find two mountain bikers lost in the dark in Grizedale Forest.
Coniston MRT was alerted at 9.50pm and mounted a search for the two men.
The pair were found and taken back to their base in Hawkshead.

12 September 2012I am amazed by the number of call outs because folks get lost. How about treating such like driving offenders, if you have to be rescued due to being lost you have to attend a mountain navigation course, maybe a one day course in basic nav, what to do if, what kit do you need and how to use it.
I know how difficult it is to navigate in really bad conditions and have often done so but with so many people heading high these days there has to be some incentive to get trained.
Like the site and the tweets.
