Scottish tent brand Vango will be displaying its innovative inflatable tent range at an upcoming technology show.
The AirBeam tents will make an appearance at the Gadget Show at Birmingham’s NEC later this week.
The company is dubbing the AirBeam tents ‘the Future of Camping’.
A Vango spokesperson said: “Launched in 2011 with phenomenal success, Vango are now introducing five brand new models to the 2012 range.
“Using ground-breaking technology developed over 15 years, the Vango AirBeam tents use inflatable beams in place of traditional metal poles meaning pitch time is usually around four minutes, with even the largest tent in the range taking less than ten minutes to pitch.
“Four simple pitching steps ensure tents are up and ready to go in no time: take the tent out of the bag, pop a peg in each corner, pump up the inflatable beams and peg down a few guylines. It really is that simple.”
The Gadget show runs from 11 to 15 April and Vango will be on stand E130 with its ‘inflatable cube’, with promotional giveaways and demonstrations taking place as well as the chance to win a VIP hot-air balloon trip.
The Vango brand has been in existence since 1967 and is owned by AMG Group and based in Scotland.
More details of the AirBeam tents are on the company’s website.
