Walking footwear brand brasher has unveiled its new lightweight hillwalking boot for the spring-summer season.
The Fellmaster GTX has Nubuck uppers and Gore-Tex lining, with models for both men and women.
The men’s size nine weighs in at 1,348g a pair, with the women’s size five tipping the scales at 1,147g.
brasher said of the new boot: “Fellmaster GTX mixes brasher’s renowned ‘out of the box’ comfort with lightweight and fit-for-purpose performance, ensuring the ultimate walking experience for both men and women.”
Uppers are 2.2 to 2.4mm oiled Nubuck leather, with memory foam in the collar and tongue for enhanced comfort.
The boots have waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Performance Comfort Footwear linings and feature brasher’s lightweight three-part Trek sole unit which includes a high density moulded midsole, a torsional support shank and performance lug pattern outsole.
The footwear also has a moulded rubber toe bumper for additional toe protection.
Fellmaster GTX comes in colourway earth and espresso and in sizes 7 to 12, including all half sizes, for men, and brown for women in sizes 4 to 8, again including all half sizes.
The Fellmaster GTX is expected in stores from next month, with a recommended retail price of £130.

29 February 2012Brasher have lost their way on quality. When they where making them in Portugal they where very good quality. The move to India seems to have killed their quality and now they have gone to china! You can buy a Italian made scarpa for the same cash- I know what i would do, (and have done).
