A climber who fell more than 1,000ft from Ben Nevis’s North Face is in a serious but stable condition in hospital, police said.
David Warden, 46, of Perth, was airlifted to Belford Hospital in Fort William after the fall from Zero Gully which killed his climbing companion yesterday.
Northern Constabulary added: “No additional details in relation to the deceased male climber are to be released until the next of kin can be notified.”
