Steven Bailey has been found safe and well

A Cumbrian fellwalker who went missing in the Lake District has turned up safe and well.

Police appealed for fellow walkers to keep an eye out for 51-year-old Steven Bailey of Ambleside after a friend reported him missing on Friday. A police spokesperson said the man had been found safe and well in Windermere.

Mr Bailey was described as a keen mountain walker and cyclist and a fan of the outdoors and the Lake District.
