As a blanket of festive snow covers much of Britain there will be great opportunities to get out into the countryside and on to our hills to make the most of the snow.

Just remember to take care out there and not to become a statistic. It’s great fun getting out on to our winter mountains and into the countryside, but it’s important to take the right precautions and go prepared and well equipped.
