A hillwalker found the body of a woman in a tent near Edzell Castle in Angus.
The remains of the 22-year-old were found by the passer-by just after 3pm yesterday. The area, near Brechin, was sealed off by police from the Tayside force who carried out a forensic examination.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
