Everest mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington will discuss the closure of the National Mountaineering Exhibition on BBC radio this Friday.
The former British Mountaineering Council president will be interviewed on Radio 4’s consumer programme You and Yours, at noon on 22 February. The exhibition, in Bonington’s back yard at Penrith, closed at Christmas after failing to get funding to enable its continuation.
