Two walkers were rescued by helicopter after becoming stuck on Crib Goch, on the Snowdon horseshoe.
The pair were airlifted from a crag by a crew from RAF Valley, using a Sea King helicopter. An RAF spokesman said they did not have any substantial mountain equipment with them.
Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) received a call for help at 7.10pm last night. The RAF crew then used night-vision equipment to find the pair, who were subsequently lowered, uninjured, to waiting members of the MRT.
