An experienced walker is safe after spending a night on a Scottish Corbett.
The unnamed, middle-aged man was found by rescuers after being reported overdue yesterday morning. He was located on the 875m (2,871ft) Baosbheinn, in the Flowerdale Forest, Torridon.
A Northern Constabulary spokesman said he had become disoriented and had been forced to spend the night on the mountain.
Baosbheinn qualifies as a Corbett, a Scottish mountain between the heights of 2,500ft (762m) and 2,999ft (914.4m), with a relative height of at least 500ft (152.4m).
