A Lancashire rescue team is getting a funding boost from an unlikely source.
The Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team is getting 5p from every pack of butter sold by a Longridge dairy. Singletons uses milk collected locally to produce the spread.
So far, the team has benefited to the tune of £400 from sales in Booth’s supermarkets. If you fancy buttering up the mountain rescue volunteers, you can get your hands on a 250g pack for £1.19.
