An RAF helicopter flew an injured walker from a Snowdonia ridge yesterday evening.
The unnamed man, from Surrey, fell while walking on the Nantlle Ridge in the West of the national park.
The 58-year-old walker suffered a head injury and broken hand in the accident. He was with a party on the ridge, which runs from Y Garn to Garnedd-Goch. The helicopter crew, from RAF Valley on Anglesey, airlifted the man to Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan.
