Climbers in the Peak District are being warned not to upset locals at a bouldering site.
A short cut to Rowtor Rocks near Birchover has been blocked by tree branches, presumably by local residents. The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) is advising visitors to the site to use the main path from the Druids Inn.
The BMC also warns against creating excessive noise and defecating at the crag. Although the rocks are not on private land, the council is urging climbers to keep a low profile.
Nearby Eagle Tor was closed to climbers after its owners complained about the behaviour of some visitors.
