Police have named the man who died in a fall in the Northern Corries of Cairn Gorm this week.
Hugh Pitcairn was a 20-year-old mechanical engineering student at Bristol University. He was among a group from the institution on a mountaineering trip in the area.
The student, originally from London, fell about 500ft in Coire an-t Sneachda on Wednesday. He was soloing Crotched Gully and it is believed he came off the route near the top, which was corniced.
