A couple of climbers are safe after a major rescue operation on Ben Nevis.
The pair, a 23-year-old woman and a man aged 24, were reported missing on Tuesday night. Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team, which was being assisted by a helicopter, spotted the climbers abseiling off the Ben at 11.30pm.
They were airlifted to Fort William, but are reported to be well. The rescue team said the two were well equipped, with food and water for overnighting on the mountain. It is not believed they needed medical attention.
