Two Dutch climbers are safe after being rescued from Ben Nevis.
Fifteen members of the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team mounted an eight-hour operation to rescue the pair, who became cragfast on Castle Gully.
An RAF helicopter from HMS Gannet was also involved in the rescue of the men, aged 19 and 27. The helicopter crew airlifted the men off the mountain after they had been reached by the mountain rescue tea. The climbers had raised the alarm around 5.30pm on Christmas Day.
Neither man needed medical attention.
